Four simple steps.

Brewing in a copper cezve

A cup of cold water, a spoon of ground coffee and a copper cezve

01 — PROPORTIONS

A cup of water.
A spoon of coffee.

One small cup of cold water. One teaspoon of coffee.
For stronger coffee, use 1½ teaspoons. Sugar is optional.

02 — STIRRING

Stir first.
Then heat.

Water, coffee and optional sugar.
Stir in a copper cezve
before placing it on the heat.

03 — LOW HEAT

Take your time.
And do not stir.

Place the cezve over low heat.
Do not stir the coffee again
while it brews.

04 — SERVING

Foam rising?
Remove from the heat.

As soon as the foam starts to rise,
remove the cezve from the heat.
Slowly pour the coffee into your cup.
